35th Annual OLSC Contest and Beach Festival
Hello PBSC members!
Registration for the Oceanside contest is now open and closes on July 12th. We are allowed two surfers plus two alternates in each division, and alternates often get to surf, so sign up now if you're interested. When each division has two entries it will still allow you to enter as an alternate, but to be really safe jump on it and make sure you're one of the first two!
A little more about the contest and the Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club:
We are honoring women in surfing this year by holding a small women’s invitational event! We have a great weekend lined up, there are still some vendor booth spots available, just email me for more information if you want a booth.
The Surf Rockers will be performing on stage Saturday evening, they are a true 60’s show band with some of Dick Dale’s original band members. They will be playing a tribute to the late great Dick Dale! The concert is free to the public. We will have beer from seven craft breweries on tap in the OLSC beer garden all weekend.

2024 Summer Longboard Classic
The 2024 Summer Longboard Classic was a big success thanks to really good waves and weather for early June, and the added stoke thanks to Gordon & Smith's sponsorship in celebration of their 65th anniversary.We will be posting the full results here soon, and you can also use this page to post your photos, videos, comments, etc., so check back often and look for new announcements via the mailing list!
